I wanted to be sure and remember this one...its always been known that Kendall loves shoes. She is always walking in around in someone else's shoes. But this morning she chose to wear...her Cabbage Patch dolls shoes, although the pic does not show it, she was not only walking upright in them, but she wore them up and down the stairs!!

{12 weeks}

Time sure is flying! I can't believe 12 weeks ago I had just brought baby Aubrey home. She is so big now. She just started taking a bottle, I am still nursing also. She took to it the easiest out of all my babies. She can roll over from her belly to back. She loves her swing, and looking at things that light up. She does not really like to be in her car seat or the car. She goes to bed by 6pm and sleeps until 4 or 5am. She is definately high maintenance..loves to be held, not easy entertained on her own.
I am hoping that those blue eyes stay, and then I will have 3 different eye colored kids!

So I peeked in on Riley who was in her room taking a nap and this is what I found. She has on three winter hats and two scarves. She said she was not feeling well today so I'm not sure if this is all on because she was cold, or if she is trying to cover her ears for some peace and quiet while she rests, but when I found her like this I laughed out loud...so the ear muff theory is what I am going with. Thought I would share!

What a day we had...we started with a community Halloween festival (put together by me!). The kids enjoyed a day of pumpkin painting, bouncing in the bouncy house, face painting, pinatas, cotton candy and popcorn! They were beat and so were we! Then we went out and hit the streets that night and got lots of candy with all our friends. Riley really played the part of her costume...the rockstar, and Kendall was such a sweet puppy!

So Steve and I have been going through some really hard times right now. His job has not paid him for 3 weeks of work now, same as the compnay before. We do not know what is happening from one day to the next. Well....this week he has been staying at his job (first night he slept in the job trailer with a sleeping bag). The rest of the week, he and a co-worker stayed in a really cheap motel, otherwise it costs about $150 a week for gas to get to and from his job and without an income thats not possible. ANYWAYS, this picture is to show who is keeping his side of the bed warm while he is gone, it not only gives her comfort but me too. Babies are so peaceful when they sleep, I just try to keep looking at her and the innocence that she does not have to know the stress of what is going on, and I hope she never has to.

{2year check up}

Kendall also had her 2 year check up yesterday..poor girl got 4 shots in her legs. She is scheduled for a routine blood screening, but that will have to wait, she is still crying about the shots a day later. She is in the 87% for height at 35 1/2 inches, 95% weight at 32.3 lbs. She has finally gotton over the phase where she will not let me do her hair, now she enjoys getting it done and then saying "I'm pretty". And she was just about completely potty trained the week of her 2nd birthday, but after a few accidents, she is refusing to go...so back to square 1!!!

{2 month check up}

Today Aubrey had her 2 month check up, she received three shots, of which she barely cried. She is in the 100% for her height she is 25 3/4 inches long!!! maybe she will be a supermodel!! She is 79% on weight at 12.4 lbs. She is a healthy beautiful lil girl...but we all already knew that!

Riley is the "other mom " around here. She beats me to the baby when she is crying, loves to hold and burp the baby. She has been so helpful!

...and robots this is the robot that Steve and Ry built for her homework project. And when I picked her up from school that day she was so excited, she was picked out of her class for the Super Citizen Award, she got to receive it up on the stage with other grades from the principal, and she also got a free meal at Sizzler (not our favorite place, but she could not wait to go).

{8 weeks}

Wow 8 weeks already. Aubrey has changed so much. She is pretty much sleeping through the night, she goes to bed at 7 and wakes up at 2 and 5ish (she is pretty gassy and that is what wakes her up). Aubrey only sleeps swadled up tight, otherwise her arms are flailing around like she is falling. She loves her bath and cries when you take her out. She loves the vibrating chair, her swing and to be in the baby bjorn on me! She is just starting to like tummy time, but will not sleep on her tummy. I just love to kiss her, and it makes me sad that this will be my last baby, so I better savor each moment! She smiles and shows off that one dimple, and every now and then she will let out a laugh...

My best friend Angela and Camryn are here from Colorado and they came to see us, and meet Aubrey, and Aubrey loooved her Auntie Ang she loved to snuggle and sleep in her arms, Aubrey actually did not really cry the whole day while Angela was here! I have missed Ang so much just knowing that the distance between us is now more than a 45 minute car ride. It was good to spend time with them while they are here!

{I'm a Big Kid Now!}

Yep, we are officially potty training and she is doing soooo good. We have only had a few accidents (to be expected), but she does not like to wear diapers anymore. We also said goodbye to the bottle, so since turning 2 we have lots of changes around here. Although I do not see that "binky" going anywhere anytime soon. But I am so proud of her!

We celebrated Kendall's second Birthday on Saturday with a big party! Kendall was adorable, she was so excited that everyone was there for her. She kept giving Steve and I hugs and kisses and saying "Thank You".

Since she has turned 2 she has finally given up her bottle (we packed them up and gave them to the "fairies") and she is almost potty trained!! What a big girl! Thanks again to all of those that came and celebrated with us and made her Birthday even more special!

{Kendall turns 2!}

Tomorrow is Kendall's 2nd birthday! We have a big party planned and she is so excited. I can't believe not too long ago she was my baby, and now she is a big sister!
Kendall has such an amazing personality, she steals hearts and attention everywhere she goes, people always ask if they can take her home with them. She is Riley's shadow in everything that she does, she always tells you "bless you" when you sneeze, and thank you when you give her something. She loves to gives hugs and kisses, loves loves to dance, and is always getting into something. She just started to go potty on the toilot, so hopefully soon she will cross another milestone....now if we could just get rid of that binky and bottle....

{Toilot Paper}

I don't know what else to say except that in the bowl and all around her is an ENTIRE roll of toilot paper! She took off her diaper and got on all by herself (I was upstairs). When I heard how quiet things were I knew it could not be good. She was sooo proud of herself, I had to reward her for trying, although I don't know if she peed or not because there was too much toilot paper to see. Hopefully I will be posting lots of potty training pics!!

On Saturday they had a concert in the park at the park across the street from our house, we rode golf carts over and enjoyed the band "Paperback Writer"...a Beatles cover band (I love the Beatles). They were really good, that is one thing that I am going to miss about Summertime out here is the free movies or concerts in the park.

{Labor Day 2009}

Here is Kendall comming down the slides, since it was the last day of the season the lifeguards let her go down, she has always wanted to go, but was not very happy about comming down backwards...I think because she could not see where she was going and when it would end!!

Us..Lounging! We were never really "pool people"...until now we love relaxing with our friends and the kids have a blast!

Aubrey made her debut, I did not know how long we would last since I still can't take a swim yet (post op), but it was a beautiful day with a breeze so we just lunged by the pool...for 4 1/2 hours!!!

Kendall=fish...this girl loves the pool, and she gets lots of attention out there jumping in and out of the pool all day!

So the other night Steve got some guy time to go golfing, so me and the girls ordered pizza in, played rockstar with their guitars and then a very intense game of Hungry hippo...Kendall is a total cheater, she just uses her hands to grab all the marbles, the game was cut short when they started to argue about it, same with rockstar when they started to hit each other with the blow up guitars...ahhhh!

What a whirlwind the last 10 days have been since I had Aubrey. Everyone asks how I get anything done, and here is your answer. I put Kendall in some bubbles, Aubrey is always sleeping, and Riley is either at school or out playing with her friends. Lets just say Kendall is REALLY clean these days!

Today AUBREY is 1 week old! What a quick week! We are all doing really well, I am so enjoying my routine at home with the girls, although I am very tired at the end of the day. I have had it pretty easy this week with a neighbor taking and picking up Riley from school though. I took these pictures this morning while we were getting ready for school and my doctors appt. Yesterday was my first time leaving the house with baby in a week, we went to Kohls, and then this morning I had my post op appt. Riley is loving school, and Kendall is going kinda stir crazy being home all day with me and baby, she is really excited when dad gets home to take her out to play. I am about to start planning my next community event which is a poolside bbq and outdoor movie night! keeping as busy as possible!!

Aubrey Danielle was born on Friday 8/21 at 8:15am, she weighed 9lbs 1 oz and is 19 1/4 inches long. She has gone down to 8lbs 6oz now and seems so tiny to us! I ended up going into labor early Friday morning before we were going in to the hospital. The c-section was great and now I am happy to be home with all three of my girls and Steve! We officially feel complete with our third and final addition to our family! She is a really good baby so far, and the girls just adore her. I think she looks different than Riley and Kendall did, a combo of both maybe...and she has the cutest dimple!!!

{I am off to have a baby}

So tomorrow morning Steve and I will be checking me in at 5:30am for a 7:30 scheduled c-section. I am totally full of nerves and anxiety, even though this will be my third one. I can't wait to meet little Aubrey and finally hold her in my arms. I will post a picture as soon as I can, I will probobly have my mom post a picture for me since it will be a few days at least until I get to a computer. But you know me...I can't wait to share pictures! Wish me luck and please keep me in your thoughts and prayers.

So I started to make these boutique tutus. Riley has an all red one which was my first one, and these two are Birthday presents to some very special little girls. They look even cuter on, but if I put one on either of my kids, I won't get it back. They are fun for dance class or even just as dress up. The next one I am making Kendall will actually wear at her 2nd b-day party, and I am even making one for Aubrey of course. I love receiving gifts that someone made special, hope you like these...you never know your little girl might get one as a present.

{The Lakes Community Luau}

So this weekend was the luau for the community that I put together. It was really fun and can't wait to do it again. Don't ask me how I found the time to pull this off the same week I am having a baby and Riley starting school, but it was worth it!

{1 week left}

So today I had my pre-op appointment and fianl check up before I check in to Rancho Springs Hospital for a 3 day 2 night stay. I will check in on Friday the 21st at 5:30am!!! And I am scheduled to have the c-section at 7:30am. The baby's heart rate was in the 130's today, still measuring on target, I have gained 18 lbs total...and the doctor thinks this baby is going to be small...small being like 7 something lbs! I did remind her that I have had two 9 lb babies but she said no way not this one. So place your bets, what's it going to be??

{Scuba Steve}

So today Steve got his first taste of scuba in our pool, and he instantly fell in love...they will be teaching the introductions to scuba for a really good deal out here, and then they are chartering a boat and making a trip out to the ocean. Go Scuba Steve!

{Stay Wet= Stay Cool}

Well lately the only way to keep cool and not go out and spend a bunch of money is to hang by the pool and splash park, so you will see lots of pictures of that. Riley is finally a "slide rider" she goes down and then right back up, and Kendall finally likes the splash park, well at least these water spouts, she still will not really run through anything yet, which is funny because she jumps in the pool and loves to go underwater! Anyways here are a few of my favorite recent pictures of the girls enjoying the water.

{Bye Bye Hybrid}

So today we traded in the Camry, and we were very sad to see it go! I have lots of cars but this was my favorite car of all, unfortunately we have outgrown it. We got a Tahoe in its place, so I felt a little guilty trading in a Hybrid car for another SUV..but it had to be done. Funny how most people might take a picture in front of their new car, but we wanted one with the one we were leaving behind!

I need to hear some baby bottle breaking stories. Kendall is so attatched to hers (only for milk and only for bedtime), she has even started to wake up once a night for one. I know I need to break her from this, but it has been really hard. The first time I tried she got sick and wanted it even more for comfort so I gave up. And now with the new room and bed I feel like maybe I am rushing her?? She is 21 months old, but the baby gets here in 5 weeks and I feel like Kendall should be done with the bottle before then. Anyways, moms out there tell me what you did, how long it took and whatever else advice you can offer me. As I type this I am hearing her cry in her bed for a bottle, I gave her milk in a new cup that she picked out today, but she just won't have it!!!

So we spent another day lounging and playing by the pool. But in the early am when we got there, Riley and Kendall swam together, and Riley was "teaching" her how to swim, it was really cute hearing her tell her to "kick her feet" and blow bubbles in the water.

Here is a shot of Riley's new room. Instead of doing a new nursery for the baby, we did some room re-arranging and Riley moved into a BIG room and got a new bed. This bed is actually my old bed and eventually I would like to re-stain it white, but that is a huge project. The stripped wall behind is what Marcy came over and did...THANKS MArcy! All her other walls are lavendar. There are still a few finishing touches to do, but its about time I turn my attention to the baby's nursery and get that organized and ready for baby!
